The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the second respondent to register a case based on the petitioner complaint dated 19.07.2015 and investigate this same in accordance with law.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint against one Karunagaran, who is the petitioner's brother's son with regard to a property dispute. Till date, no action was taken on the said complaint.

3. Today, when the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that an enquiry has been conducted and closed. The copy of the closure report has been produced before this court for perusal. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Since the complaint is enquired into and closed, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, this court cannot give any direction and the petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
