ORDER
This writ petition is filed for the following prayer; "To direct the respondents 1, 2 & 3 to consider the petitioner's representation dated 12.03.2020 and
23.06.2020, with regard to his promotion and pass orders thereon within limited time frame."
2.The case of the petitioner is that he is employed as Salesman and working in Fair Price Shop (PDS). According to him that he has been making representations to the Management for promotion but till date those representations have not evoked any response. He has referred to two latest representations dated 12.03.2020 and 26.03.2020 seeking the relief of promotion. Apart from this fact, nothing less has been stated in the affidavit.
3.The affidavit is extremely bald and bereft of any specific detail as to what is the nature of promotion, the petitioner is looking for, what is the qualification, when has he been appointed as Salesman. Nothing pertaining to the service details of the petitioner is disclosed in the affidavit. The affidavit is drafted in such reckless and casual manner taking the extraordinary jurisdiction of this Court under Article 226 of the Constitution for granted. What is more shocking is that how the counsel appearing for the petitioner would expect a direction from this Court on the basis of such meaningless and vague averments, in disclosing any cause of action, for this Court to entertain the writ petition. Therefore the writ petition has to be rejected outright on the ground that prayer for issuance of writ of mandamus is not a trifle remedy to be sought and obtained in such casual fashion.
