CRIME NO.1799 OF 2016 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.No.112 of 2019 on the file of the High Court, the High Court will be pleased to grant the interim suspension of sentence of bail in Crl.A.No.112 of 2019 on the file of this Honourable Court for 2 days on 5th and 6th June 2019 for attending the ceremonies of his deceased brother Mr.P.Rajkumar at Neelangarai, Chennai.

Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the Memorandum of Grounds in CRL A.No.112 of 2019 on the file of the High Court and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.T.SAI KRISHNAN, Advocate for the petitioner, and of Public Prosecutor on behalf of the Respondent, the court made the following order:- It is seen that the petitioner's brother P.Rajkumar died on 20.05.2019 and the petitioner was not able to attend the funeral since he was incarcerated in this case. Now, the prayer of the petitioner is that, he may be at least granted interim bail enabling him to attend the 16th day ceremony of his brother. Taking into consideration the aforesaid facts, this Court is inclined to grant interim suspension of sentence and interim bail to the petitioner, on humanitarian grounds, on the following conditions:

(1) The petitioner shall be released on interim bail on he executing a bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees ten thousand only) with two sureties to the satisfaction of the Trial Court. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(2) The petitioner shall surrender before the Trial Court on 14.06.2019.

Post the matter on 17.06.2019, under the caption "for reporting compliance".
