The learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing on behalf of the respondents 1 to 5, submitted a copy of the letter dated 20.2.2018, issued by the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records, Kancheepuram to the District Revenue Officer, Kancheepuram. The learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 5 informed this Court that the survey in respect of the writ petitioner's land had already been conducted and the grievance of the writ petitioner has been redressed. In view of the said submissions of the learned Additional Government Pleader for respondents 1 to 5 and the order dated 20.2.2018 of the Assistant Director of Survey and Land Records, Kancheepuram, no further adjudication is required in this writ petition. Accordingly, the writ petition stands closed. However, there shall be no order as to costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is also closed.
