Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Standing Counsel for Tamilnadu Generation and Distribution

Corporation.

2. The petitioner has worked as Assessor in Tamilnadu Generation and Distribution Corporation at Arangalur and on attaining the age of superannuation, retired on 31.10.2013. It is grievance of the petitioner that he has not been given the service cum retirement benefits inspite of submitting series of representations. The petitioner is therefore, before this court seeking a direction to the respondent to pay him the retirement benefits.

3. The 2nd respondent is directed to consider the representation of the petitioner dated 5.3.2014 and dispose of the same on merits taking into account his retirement. Such exercise shall be completed within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. The Writ Petition is disposed of with the above direction. No costs.
