Respondents Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issue of Writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 30.01.2017 with regard to (a) pass an appropriate order to close the retail sales of tobacco in any form in the shops and other places; (b) direct the respondents create a smoking area for smokers; (c) direct the respondents punish the culprits strictly who violate the above act; (d) direct the respondents to conduct Health seminars at rural and urban areas; (e) direct the respondents ensure the educational institution is free from tobacco products; (f) direct the respondents to inspect the petty shops and Tea shops etc., whether they are selling the tobacco products to any minor and ensure that they are strictly following the act.
