ORDER

This petition has been filed to quash the FIR No.72 of 2013 on the file of the Inspector of Police, Vaniyambadi Town Police Station, Vellore.

2. Today, the respondent police have filed a counter, wherein it is stated as follows in paragraph 4:

"4. It is submitted that after completion of thorough and detailed investigation, based on the statements of the witnesses, the then Sub Inspector of Police has referred the case as "Mistake of Fact" on 05.02.2013 and the same was informed to the complainant through RCS No.17/2013. Further, the Final Report was submitted before the learned Judicial Magistrate Court, Vaniyambadi on 05.02.2013." https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

In view of the fact that the investigation has been completed and the case has been closed as "mistake of fact", recording the same, this petition is closed. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petitions are closed.
