O R D E R
This Writ Petition has been filed for the issue of a Writ of Mandamus directing the second respondent to pass orders on the application filed by the petitioner dated 26.02.2018 wherein the petitioner has sought for enhancement of compensation.
2. The case of the petitioner is that the subject properties were acquired in the year 2013 and the award was passed by the third respondent on 20.09.2016. The petitioner was not satisfied with the award that was fixed by the third respondent. Hence, the petitioner has filed an application before the second respondent on 26.02.2018 seeking for enhancement of compensation. The petitioner has made several representation thereafter to the second respondent to hear and dispose of the application. Since the same was not considered by the respondents, the present writ petition has been filed before this Court seeking for appropriate directions.
3. Heard Mr.G.Thangavel, learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.E.Manohar, learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents.
4. Taking into consideration the facts and circumstances of the case and the limited prayer sought for in this Writ Petition, there shall be a direction to the second respondent to consider the representation/application made by the petitioner dated 26.02.2018 strictly in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of four months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
5. The petitioner is directed to make a fresh representation to the second respondent along with all relevant documents and also a copy of this order.
6. This Writ Petition is disposed of with the above directions. No costs.
