Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondents to issue legal heir certificate considering petitioner's representation dated 23.06.2017. O R D E R

The petitioner seeks for a mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 3 to issue legal heir certificate considering her representation dated 23.06.2017.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner, the learned Additional Government Pleader appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and the learned counsel appearing for the respondents 4 to 8.

3. The grievance of the petitioner is that her request for issuance of legal heir certificate has not been considered so far even though the respondents 4 to 8 are not having any objections for issuing the said certificate, also by including the name of the petitioner as one of the legal heir of the deceased Natarajan. Needless to say that it is for the third respondent to consider the request of the petitioner and pass appropriate orders on merits and in accordance with law, after hearing the petitioner as well as the respondents 4 to 8. Such exercise shall be done by the third respondent within a period of six weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.

4. With the above direction and observation, this writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
