ORDER

This Writ Petition has been filed to direct the respondents to preserve the CCTV footage recorded between 18.04.2022 and 23.04.2022 at the 2nd respondent Police Station and to furnish a copy of the same to the petitioner, by considering his representation, dated 13.05.2022. 2.Heard the learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents. 3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents submitted that already the CCTV footage between 18.04.2022 and 23.04.2022 has been preserved by the Superintendent of Police/1st respondent.

4.From the submissions, it appears that the petitioner wants to get one more copy of CCTV footage in order to produce the same before the disciplinary authority.

5.In such view of the matter, it is for the petitioner to summon to those CCTV recordings as per law and produce the same before the disciplinary authority, during enquiry alone. No separate copy need not be given to the petitioner at this stage.

6.In view of the above, this Writ Petition stands dismissed. No costs.
