Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader, takes notice for the respondents. By consent, the main writ petition itself is taken up for disposal at the admission stage itself.

The petitioner has filed the above Writ Petition to issue a writ of mandamus, directing the respondents to dispose of his representation dated 31.01.2017 pertaining to measure and demarcate the land in Old Survey No.186/4, New S.No.186/4A1A and 186/4A2A in Kannapalayam Village, Poonamallee Taluk , measuring an extent of 100 cents as per Patta No.1599.

The learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted that in spite of the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2017 and payment of the necessary charges, the respondents have not measured and demarcated the petitioner's land so far. 4.Mr.E.Balamurugan, learned Additional Government Pleader, appearing for the respondents submitted that the respondents may be
directed to demarcate and measure the petitioner's land, in accordance with law, after giving notice to all the interested parties.
5. In view of the submissions made by the learned counsel on either side, without expressing any opinion with regard to the merits of the case, I direct the respondents to consider the petitioner's representation dated 31.01.2017 and pass orders, in accordance with law for measuring and demarcating the petitioner's land, after giving notice to all the interested parties, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. With this observation, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed. 17.07.2017 Index: Yes/No Rj To
