Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a writ of habeas corpus to call for records pertaining to the order of detention passed by the second respondent in C.M.P.No.1/GOONDA/Salem City/2022 dated 05.01.2022 detaining the detenu as a GOONDA and set aside the impugned order of detention passed under the Tamil Nadu Act 14 of 1982 and direct the respondents to produce the body of the detenu namely Kannan, S/o.Sekar M/A-23, residing at Mariamman Kovil Street, Periyamottur, Mamangam, Salem, now confined in Central Prison, Salem before this Court and set him at liberty.
