O R D E R

This Civil Revision Petition has been filed seeking direction for speedy disposal of O.S.No. 141 of 2000 pending on the file of the Subordinate Court, Bhavani, Erode district.

2. The revision petitioner is the first defendant in the suit. The first respondent/plaintiff filed the suit for specific performance against the 1/3

defendants and the same is pending. The learned counsel for the revision petitioner submitted that the revision petitioner who is the first defendant in the suit is a senior citizen and he is 85 years old and hence he prayed to expedite the proceedings.

3. Since it is reliably learnt that the issues have been framed in the suit and the same is posted for trial, it would be appreciable if the learned trial Judge bestows his best interest to dispose the suit as early as possible by taking into consideration of the age of the first defendant.

4. Accordingly the civil revision petition is allowed with a direction that the learned Sub Judge, Bhavani, Erode district shall dispose the suit in O.S.No.141 of 2000 as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of within six months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
