By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. The petitioner claims to be the legal heir of Tmt Mary Grace, who was appointed as Higher Grade Teacher on 06.11.1947 and got promotion to the post of Secondary Grade Teacher on 01.06.1970. The mother of the petitioner, on attaining the age of superannuation, was allowed to retire from service on 31.07.1981 and she was also paid with pensionary benefits and however, the benefits of revision and refixation of pension, has not been https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
conferred to her. The mother of the petitioner, died on 01.11.2014, nominating the petitioner herein as her legal heir, to receive the above said benefits. The petitioner, in this regard, has also submitted a representation during November 2014, followed by another representation dated 12.02.2015 to the 1st respondent and since no orders have been passed, he came forward to file this writ petition.
Heard the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner and Mr.V.Subbiah, learned Special Government Pleader, who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents 1 to 3. This Court, taking into consideration the above facts and circumstances, directs the 1st respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 12.02.2015 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken to the petitioner.
