PRAYER: This Criminal Original Petition filed under Section 482 of Cr.P.C., to pass an order or direction directing the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

O R D E R

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking to pass an order or direction, directing the 2nd respondent police not to harass the petitioner and his family members.

2. When the matter is taken up for hearing, Mr.V.Meganathan, learned Government Advocate (crl.side) would submit that the petitioner is a History sheeter and four cases are pending against him. He would further submit that recently the case in Crime No.234 of 2021 has been registered and the respondent are searching for the petitioner and the petitioner is an accused in this case pending on the file of the Veppur Police Station.

3. Under such circumstances, once the regular FIR has been registered, the question of "Not to harass" will not arise. Any direction issued by this Court at this stage will amount to interfering with the investigation conducted by the respondent police.

4. Accordingly, this Criminal Original Petition is closed.
