O R D E R

When this Court was about to dismiss this petition on merits, learned counsel for the petitioner sought permission of this Court to withdraw the same and he has also made an endorsement to that effect. Permission is granted. Accordingly, this petition is dismissed as withdrawn.

2. However, this Court finds that the allegation against the petitioner is that she was working in the Accounts Section of Erode Municipality and that, she handed over a cheque for Rs.18,66,000/- to A1, that was intended for the de facto complainant. Thereafter, A1 and A2 opened an account by impersonating the de facto complainant and encashed the cheque.

3. This Court is of the view that interests of justice would be served if the Deputy Superintendent of Police is directed to monitor the investigation in DCB Cr.No.16 of 2016 and it is ordered accordingly. If it is found that the petitioner had not colluded with A1 and A2, it is needless to state that the petitioner should not be included in the Final Report. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/
