When the matter was listed for hearing on 04.10.2021, none appeared on behalf of the petitioner. Thus, this Court passed an order, directing the Registry to list the matter on 06.10.2021 under the caption "For Dismissal".

2. Even today, i.e. 21.10.2021, when the matter is taken up for hearing, none appeared for the petitioner. Thus, it is evident that the petitioner is not interested in pursuing the matter. Accordingly, the Writ Petition in W.P.No.37812 of 2016 stands dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
