O R D E R

The present petition has been filed to direct the 1st respondent to take appropriate action on the petitioner's complaint dated 25.11.2015.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged a complaint as against her neighbour one Muthuramalingam and two others on 25.11.2015. But till date no action was taken. Hence, the present petition.

3. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that based on the complaint given by the petitioner, F.I.R.. has been registered in Crime No.449 of 2015 for the offence under sections 448, 427, 324, 506(ii) IPC and under Section 4 of Women Harassment Act.

4. Since already the case has been registered on the complaint given by the petitioner dated 25.11.2015, nothing survives in the petition. Hence, the criminal original petition stands dismissed. However, the respondent police is directed to investigate the case and file a final report as early as possible.
