This Writ Petition has been filed for a direction directing the 3rd respondent to consider the application submitted by the petitioner for issuance of patta in respect of the land situated at No.401, Seemanchery Village, Pallikaranai Firka, Sholinganallur Taluk, Chennai.
2. Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials available on record.
3. On perusal of the records, it is revealed that the petitioner purchased the subject land under a registered sale deed in Document Number 3832 of 1992 from one K.Nageswara Rao, measuring to an extent of 2 acres. While being so, certain interlopers interfered with the petitioner's enjoyment of the subject property and also instituted a suit in O.S. No. 839 of 2009, seeking a declaration that the sale deed executed in favour of the petitioner as null and void. However, the said suit was dismissed and the decree was passed in favour of the petitioner. Thereafter, the petitioner submitted a representation seeking issuance of patta in respect of the subject land.
