O R D E R

The present petition has been filed to direct the 2nd respondent to register the complaint dated 17.09.2015 given by the petitioner herein pending before him for a long period and also direct the 1st respondent to monitor the progress of the investigation and take necessary action.

2. The petitioner has lodged a complaint as against her sister one Kalyani and her husband Mani stating that this petitioner gave Rs.80,000/- to the said Kalyani and to her husband Mani by pledging her jewels. The petitioner also gave 3 1⁄2 sovereign gold necklace to them. Subsequently, they failed to return the amount as well as the jewels. On 17.09.2015, the petitioner went to her sister's house and requested them to return the money but both of them abused her in filthy language and also assaulted her and threatened her with dire https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

consequences. Hence, the petitioner gave a complaint before the 2nd respondent police on 17.09.2015. Since no action was taken so far, the present petition has been filed.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, C.S.R.No.166/2015 was assigned and after enquiry, the petition has been closed.

4. Since the complaint given by the petitioner has been closed, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the criminal original petition is dismissed. However, the petitioner is at liberty to work out his remedy under section 156(3) Cr.P.C. vsi s/d- Assistant Registrar(CS-IV) True Copy Sub-Assistant Registrar To
