Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of Mandamus, directing the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2022 and pass such further or other orders.

ORDER

The prayer sought for in the writ petition is to direct the respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2022 and pass orders.

2. Heard both sides and perused the materials available on record.

3. The learned counsel for the petitioner has submitted that the petitioner was recruited through District Employment Officer and worked on daily wages basis in the Krishnagiri Municipality Office from 30.11.1979 to 27.09.2011 and thereafter based on the educational qualification, the petitioner was appointed as Lorry Cleaner by order dated 26.07.2001. The petitioner's service was regularised from 27.07.2002 with all benefits. The petitioner was retired from service on attaining the age of superannuation on 30.06.2015, but the respondent have not settled the terminal benefits viz., 2/4

GPF, ESI and monthly pension till date. The petitioner has made representation dated 13.04.2022 to the respondent to grant all the benefits with arrears but till date the respondent has not taken any action. Hence the present writ petition.

4. On the other hand, the learned Government Advocate appearing for respondents has submitted that the representation submitted by the petitioner will be considered by the respondents and appropriate orders will be passed in accordance with law and within a time frame as fixed by this Court.

5. In view of the submissions made by the learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents and considering the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner, this Court without expressing any opinion on the merits of the case, directs the 5th respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 13.04.2022 made by the petitioner and pass appropriate orders, in accordance with law, within a period of six (6) weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. 3/4
