Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a Writ of Mandamus directing the respondent to consider and pass order on the revision dated 11.07.2010 against the order Sei.Mu.AA.No.Aa.Aa.1/59005/07 dated 19.08.2009 passed by the Chief conservator of Forest, Chennai within the time limit fixed by this Honourable Court.

By consent, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal. 2.The petitioner while working as Forester was visited with disciplinary proceedings in the form of charge memo dated 28.11.2002 and after enquiry, he was imposed with punishment of stoppage of increment for a period of three years with cumulative effect. The criminal appeal filed by him also ended in dismissal and he has filed revision before the first respondent on 11.07.2010 and it was also followed by a reminder dated 06.07.2013 and since no orders have been passed, came forward to file this writ petition.

3.Heard the submissions of Mr.M.Vijayakumar, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and Mr.N.Inbanathan, learned Government https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

Advocate (Forest) who accepts notice on behalf of the respondents. 4.This Court taking into consideration the limited scope of the prayer sought for by the petitioner and without going into the merits of the same, directs the first respondent to consider and dispose of the petitioner's representation dated 11.07.2010 and the reminder dated 06.07.2013 on merits and in accordance with law and pass orders within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and communicate the decision taken, to the petitioner. 5.The writ petition is disposed of accordingly.
