Mr.N.R.R.Arun Natarajan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice for the respondents including the Executive Officer/Thakkar/R1, presently in charge of Arulmighu Ponniamman

Temple, Keerapakkam Village, Thirukazhukundram Taluk, Chengalpattu District (temple/temple in question) and is armed with written instructions to proceed with the matter finally. Hence, by consent expressed by both learned counsel, this Writ Petition is taken up for final disposal even at the stage of admission.

2. The petitioner prays for a mandamus directing the Executive Officer/R1 to hand over charge of the temple in question to the trustees appointed as per order of the second respondent dated 15.12.2020 among whom, thereafter, one has been appointed as Chairman.

3. Mr.Arun Natarajan has written instructions to state that charge with regard to the management of the temple will be handed over to the Trustees appointed within a period of 30 days from today.

4. Recording the same and as the mandamus sought stands thereby achieved, this Writ Petition is allowed. Charge of administration and management of the temple shall be handed over to the Trustees within a period of 30 days from today. No costs.
