Respondent Prayer: Petition is filed under Article 226 of The Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondent to allot the houses constructed in Kannagi Nagar/ Perumbakkam under (JnNURM) Scheme in favour of the petitioners based on the applications given by them on various dates to the respondent herein.

Though the petitioners have sought for a larger relief, the learned counsel appearing for the petitioners submitted that it is suffice if the pending representations made on various dates by the petitioners are directed to be disposed of. 2.A perusal of the typed set of papers filed would show that the petitioners made a request for allotment of flats to the respondent in the Kannagi Nagar/Perumbakkam Scheme, Kanceepuram District.

One of the petitioners, by name Mrs.Rubila Mary, was asked to appear for an enquiry by a letter dated 14.11.2014 within a period of three days from the date of receipt of a copy of the said letter with the documents mentioned. Though the petitioners' representations have not been dated, the acknowledgements have been enclosed with the typed set of papers. It is also seen that insofar as the first petitioner viz., Mrs.Rubila Mary is concerned, though she was called for the enquiry by the proceedings dated 14.11.2014, no subsequent action is available on record. Therefore, a direction is issued to the respondent to consider and pass appropriate orders on the pending representations of the

petitioners within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. The petitioners are also directed to give another copy of the said representations within a period of two weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order by enclosing the copy of this order along with other records.

The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.

Consequently, connected miscellaneous petition is closed.
