Colony, Eriyarur Post, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District from 10.08.2016 to 14.08.2016 in pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2016 in accordance with law.

O R D E R

This petition has been filed to direct the respondent/police herein i.e. the Inspector of Police, Mangalamedu Police Station, Perambalur District to give permission to conduct the cultural programs in connection with the temple festivals at Arulmighu Sri Muthu Mariyamman Koil, S.L.R. Colony, Eriyarur Post, Veppanthattai Taluk, Perambalur District from 10.08.2016 to 14.08.2016 in pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 02.08.2016 in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

3. It is seen that the petitioner is the President of the Temple Committee of Arulmighu Sri Muthu Mariyammal Koil. According to him, they want to celebrate the Adi month festival and in this regard he has sought permission to conduct the cultural programmes by representation dated 02.08.2016.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there is no proof of the petitioner having given the representation.

5. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and give a fresh representation to the respondent police and on such representation being given, the respondent police shall enquire into the same by calling all the parties and take action in accordance with law.
