This criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to the first respondent to investigate and enquire the case in Crime No.76 of 2018 on the file of the first respondent and to submit the final report.

2. Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Government Advocate (Crl.Side) appearing for the respondents.

3. Taking into consideration, the nature of the allegations in the FIR, this Court cannot issue any direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation in a time bound manner.

However, this petition is disposed of, with a direction to the respondent police to complete the investigation as expeditiously as possible and either file a final report or closure report, as the case may be under due intimation to the de facto complainant.
