O R D E R

The petitioner has come forward with this petition seeking for a direction directing the respondent, The SubInspector of Police, Tindivanam Police Station, Villupuram District to register the complaint dated 30.11.2015 in CSR No.583/2015 given by the petitioner and to take action against the person mentioned in the complaint and also to file a final report within a specified time.

2. Heard both sides.

3. The petitioner has lodged complaint as against one Subburam stating that he has taken the Bank pass book of petitioner and official documents from the custody of the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

petitioner. Hence he lodged complaint to the respondent police on 30.11.2015, but no action was taken by the respondent police.

4. Learned Additional Public prosecutor submitted that on receipt of complaint, C.S.R.No.583 of 2015 has been assigned and the matter is now pending enquiry.

5. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complaint of the petitioner assigned in C.S.R.No.583 of 2015 and upon enquiry, if materials are gathered indicating any cognizable offence, the respondent shall proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible. If no prima facie case is made out for investigation, the respondent is directed to pass appropriate order on the complaint.

6. This Criminal Original Petition is disposed of with the above direction.
