By consent of the learned counsel on either side, the writ petition is taken up for final disposal.
2.Heard Mr. R.Jayaprakash, learned Counsel appearing for the petitioner, Mrs.P.Rajalakshmi, learned Government Advocate appearing for the respondents 1 to 3 and Mr.V.Raghavachari, learned counsel appearing for the fourth respondent.
3.The petitioner seeks for issuance of writ of mandamus to direct the respondents to consider his representation dated 26.11.2013, for issuance of patta.

4.The petitioner would state that he is entitled for grant of patta in respect of the land in Survey No.197/2, which according to him is the private patta land.
5.In the counter affidavit, it has been stated that patta in respect of Survey No.197/2, stands in the name of fourth respondent and the petitioner's representation to cancel the said patta has been taken into consideration and notice has been issued. However, it has been stated that notice has been issued only to the petitioner and not to the fourth respondent.
6.Under such circumstances, third respondent is directed to issue notice to the petitioner and to the fourth respondent, conduct an enquiry with regard to the claim made by the petitioner in respect of cancellation of patta in Survey No.197/2 and after affording an opportunity of personal hearing to both the parties, pass orders on merits and in accordance with law, within a period of three months from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
