ORDER

This writ petition has been filed for direction directing the first respondent to consider the petitioner's representation dated 10.01.2025 and consequently provide necessary assistance to enable the petitioner to lay pipeline in Tiruppur District. 2.

Heard the learned counsel appearing on either side and perused the materials placed before this Court. 3.

Without expressing any opinion on merits of the writ petition, the third respondent is directed to conduct enquiry on the representation submitted by the petitioner, after issuance of notice to the petitioner and the villagers, who are allegedly objecting the lying of pipeline by the petitioner and pass orders on merits and in accordance

with law, to provide adequate police protection, in the light of the orders passed by this Court in the several writ petitions filed by the villagers, within a period of four weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this Order.

With the above directions, the Writ Petition stands disposed of. There shall be no order as to costs.

2. The learned counsel for the petitioner has brought to the notice of this Court that, in the order dated 28.04.2025 passed in W.P.No.14790 of 2025, in Paragraph No.3 of the operative portion, the second line erroneously refers to the "third respondent" instead of the "second respondent".

3. Accepting the submissions of the learned counsel for the petitioner, it is hereby ordered that in Paragraph 3 of the operative portion, the second line of the order dated 28.04.2025, the words "third respondent" shall stand corrected to read as "second respondent"

4. In all other aspects, the order dated 28.04.2025 passed in W.P.No.14790 of 2025 shall remain unaltered.

5. Registry is directed to carry out the necessary correction in the order dated 28.04.2025 in W.P.No.14790 of 2025 and issue a fresh order copy.
