ORDER : The Court Made the following order :- The petitioners, who apprehend arrest at the hands of the respondent police for the alleged offences punishable under Section 6(4) of TNSC (RDCS) order 1982, r/w 7(1) a(ii) of E.C. Act 1958 in Cr.No.107 of 2022, on the file of the respondent police, seeks anticipatory bail.

2. The case of the prosecution is that, based on the secret information, on 28.05.2022, the flying squad had found A3 in possession of 218 bags of PDS rice, each carrying 50 kgs in his residence at Rafiknagar, Walajapet. Based on his confession, the petitioners herein were arrayed as A1 & A2.

3. Considering the fact that huge quantity of PDS rice is involved in this case, this Court is not inclined to grant anticipatory bail to the petitioner. Hence, this Criminal Original Petition is dismissed.
