O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed seeking a direction to register the petitioner's complaint dated 26.10.2015 and investigate the same and to file a final report under section 173(2).

2. The petitioner is a practising Advocate. The petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Ashok kumar stating that on 26.10.2015, when the petitioner was returning to his home after finishing his Court work, the driver of a JCB vehicle bearing Registration No.TN 20 BJ 73, who drove the said vehicle in a rash and negligent manner, splashed mud on the petitioner. When the same was questioned by the petitioner, the driver of JCB vehicle abused him in filthy language. Further, he called his brother one Ashok Kumar from Thiruvallur Town, who came to the occurrence spot and assaulted the petitioner by kicking the petitioner with his legs and also threatened with dire consequences. has been received and CSR No.402 of 2015 has been assigned, till date no action was taken. Hence, the petitioner has filed the present petition.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that the complaint has been assigned in C.S.R.No.402 of 2015 and the same is pending for enquiry.

4. From the facts and circumstances of the case, I find that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.402 of 2015. Hence, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.402 of 2015 and dispose of the same in accordance with law, as early as possible.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
