O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondent to register the FIR based on the complaint dated 14.12.2015, vide Acknowledgment slip No.25/2015 submitted by the petitioner herein to the respondent police and proceed with the investigations and file a final report.

2. The petitioner herein has lodged complaint as against her husband and his friends on the ground of dowry harassment and cruelty on 14.12.2015. Though the receipt of complaint was acknowledged vide Acknowledgment slip No.25 of 2015, till date, no action was taken. Hence the petitioner is before this Court.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the allegation made in the complaint does not constitute any cognizable offence, thus he opposed for granting direction. Further he submitted that on receipt of complaint, acknowledgement slip No.25 of 2015 was issued. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. From the facts and circumstances of the case, I find that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been acknowledged in Acknowledgement slip No.25 of 2015. Hence, this Court directs the respondent to conduct enquiry on the complainant given by the petitioner on 14.12.2015 and proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
