This petition has been filed to direct the respondent/police herein i.e. the Inspector of Police, Bommidi Police Station, Dharmapuri District to give permission to conduct the cultural programs in connection with the temple festivals at Sree Thandu Mariyamman Koil, Jangala Alli, Dharmapuri District 10.08.2016 to 12.08.2016 in pursuance of the petitioner's representation dated 08.08.2016 in accordance with law.

2. Heard the learned counsel for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the State.

3. It is seen that the petitioner is the President of the Temple Committee of Sree Thandu Mariyammal Koil, Jangala Alli, Dharmapuri District. According to him, they want to celebrate the Adi month festival and in this regard he has sought permission to conduct the cultural programmes by representation https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submits that there is no proof of the petitioner having given the representation.

5. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is directed to go in person and give a fresh representation to the respondent police and on such representation being given, the respondent police shall enquire into the same by calling all the parties and take action in accordance with law.
