Mr.R.T.Doraisamy the learned counsel who had filed vakalat for the petitioner had filed a memo stating that he has no instruction and hence, notice was ordered to the petitioners on 08.06.2018 for their appearance before this court, which has been served. Today, when the matter is called there is no representation for the petitioner. No useful purpose would be served by keeping the writ petition pending, when the petitioners do not appear to be interested to pursue the matter. Hence, the writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution, leaving it open to the petitioner to apply for revival of the writ petition in accordance with law. No costs.
