O R D E R

The present petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the case on the complaint of the petitioner dated 05.11.2015 and file a final report.

2. In the petition, it has been stated that on 3.11.2015 at about 10.30 a.m., One Sudhakar had stolen away the petitioner's file consisting of entire educational certificates and some other documents issued by Government along with a sum of Rs.3,700/- and two sovereigns of gold chain.

Hence he lodged a complaint against the said Sudhakar on 5.11.2015 before the respondent police.

3. Learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that though the complaint was lodged on 5.11.2015, till date, no action was https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

taken. Hence the petitioner is before this Court.

4. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the said Sudhakar is none other than the husband of the petitioner's sister and he further submitted that the complaint was sent to the respondents only by post and if the same is given in person, appropriate action would be taken.

5. However, irrespective of the submissions made on either side, this Court is of the opinion that it is appropriate to direct the petitioner to give a fresh complaint along with a copy of this order within a period of one week from the date of receipt of a copy of this order and on receipt of such complaint, the respondent is directed to conduct an enquiry on the said complaint and dispose of the same in accordance with law as early as possible.

6. The criminal original petition is disposed of accordingly.
