O R D E R

The present Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking for a direction directing the Respondents to register the case on the basis of the Written complaint of the Petitioner dated 04.11.2015, to investigate the same and to file a final report within the stipulated period.

2. The petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Mani stating that the petitioner had let out his portion to the said Mani during April 2015. One Dinesh, who is the son of said Mani, after consuming liquor, is in a habit of eve teasing the working girls who are staying in the house infront of his tenant's house. As the petitioner received complaints from the neighbouring residents and working girls, he warned his tenant Mani and his son Dinesh not to indulge in such activities. On 4.11.2015, the said Dinesh, in an inebriated mood, went into the https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

opposite house, created problem and caused disturbance to the girls residing in the said house. Though the petitioner over phone informed the same to the said Mani, father of Dinesh and requested to prevent Dinesh from indulging any illegal activities, the said Mani threatened the petitioner and disconnected the phone. Thereafter the said Dinesh came to the petitioner's house and locked his house and damaged wash basin, invertor Battery, floor tiles, toilet Basin, fixtures and electrical fittings and also set fire to Sofa, screens, matress etc., and due to the above said illegal and unlawful action, the said Dinesh has caused loss to the tune of Rs.3,62,000/- . Hence the petitioner gave a complaint on 4.11.2015 before the 2nd respondent, but till date no action has been taken on the said complaint. Hence the present petition.

3. Learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that on receipt of complaint, C.S.R.No.986 of 2015 has been assigned and the same is pending enquiry.

4. From the facts and circumstances of the case, I find that the complaint lodged by the petitioner has been assigned CSR Number as C.S.R.No.986 of 2015. Hence, this court directs the 2nd respondent to conduct enquiry in C.S.R.No.986 of 2015 and proceed further in accordance with law as early as possible.

5. The criminal original petition is disposed of with the above direction.
