O R D E R

The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the second respondent to register the FIR on the complaint dated 06.04.2015 and investigate the same in accordance with law and file final report on the above complaint.

2. The petitioner has stated that one Ramesh, who was a tenant in the petitioner's house, took photos of the petitioner while she was in the bath room. Thereafter, the said Ramesh threatened the petitioner and extracted money from her. Further the said Ramesh forcefully received the signatures of the petitioner in blank stamp papers and blank sheets and created forged documents against the petitioner. Apart from that the said Ramesh has informed about the photos and documents created by him to one Manavalan and Selvam and subsequently those persons have threatened the petitioner and took the

original documents of the petitioner's property. Subsequently, the auto driver Selvam threatened the petitioner and got a cheque for Rs.3 lakhs and the amount was withdrawn from IOB, Valmighi Nagar Branch and the same was shared between Duraikabilan, Baktha and Selvam. In view of the continuous threat given by the said persons, the petitioner attempted to commit suicide and she was admitted in the hospital and was discharged from the hospital after ten days. In this regard, the second respondent police recorded the statement of the petitioner and a case was registered in Crime No.1071 of 2015 by the second respondent police. Even thereafter, as there is continuous threat from the accused persons, the petitioner lodged a complaint on 06.04.2015. But no action has been taken on the said complaint till date. Hence, the petitioner has come forward with the present criminal original petition.

3. I have heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner as well as the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) appearing for the respondent.

When the matter was taken up for consideration, the learned Government Advocate (Criminal Side) submitted that on receipt of the complaint from the petitioner, C.No.122 of 2015 has been assigned and a detailed enquiry was conducted on the complaint of the petitioner and thereafter, the said complaint was closed. He also produced a copy of the closure report before this Court.

5. In view of the submissions made on either side, as the complaint given by the petitioner has already been closed, nothing survives in this petition and this Criminal Original Petition is closed with liberty to the petitioner to work out his remedy in the manner known to law.
