The present criminal original petition has been filed to direct the respondents not to harass the petitioner under the guise of enquiry on the complaint of one N.Saroja.

2. It is the submission of the learned counsel for the petitioner that based on the complaint lodged by his mother viz., N.Saroja, the 2nd respondent police is frequently calling the petitioner for enquiry and harassing him. Hence the petitioner has come forward with the present Criminal Original Petition.

3. The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the mother of the petitioner has lodged a complaint saying that https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

the petitioner is not looking after her and he is harassing her to settle the property in his favour. The petitioner is called by the respondents only for the purpose of enquiry and absolutely there is no intention to harass the petitioner.

4. In view of the submission made by the learned Additional Public Prosecutor, I am of the opinion that there is no need to give any specific direction to the respondent not to harass the petitioner.
