Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for issuance of a Writ of mandamus directing the respondents 1 to 4 to issue patta in the name of petitioner in respect of agriculture lands bearing Ayan Punjai S.No.29/6 to an extent of 37 cents of Kodangudi Village, Thittakudi Taluk, Cuddalore District.

O R D E R

The petitioner made a representation on 19.08.2015 to the respondent no.4 stating that patta has been recorded wrongly in the name of 3rd party by name Ayyakannu S/o Chinnamani instead of the petitioner's father R.Sreerangan S/o Ramasamy. It is the case of the petitioner that his father has purchased the property in the year 1994. Since then, he has been in possession. As the said request has not been considered, the present Writ Petition has been filed.

2.Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief, taking into consideration the pendency of the representation dated 19.08.2015 to the respondent no.4, a direction is issued to the said authority to dispose of the same after affording opportunity to the petitioner as well as to the respondent nos.5 & 6, within a period of eight weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order.
