Today, this writ petition is listed under the caption 'for dismissal' and when the matter is taken up for hearing, there is no representation for the petitioner inspite of the matter being passed over.

2. On 24.09.2025, learned counsel for the petitioner filed a Memo dated 26.08.2025 informing the Court that the petitioner had taken no objection vakalat in the matter to engage another counsel and as such, he has no instructions in the matter and the said memo was taken on record.

3. Despite the name of the petitioner being shown in the cause list, there is no representation for the petitioner either in person or through his alternate counsel on the previous date of hearing i.e., on 07.10.2025.

4. In view of the above, this writ petition is dismissed for non-prosecution. No costs.
