PRAYER: Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue a writ of Habeas Corpus, calling for the records in Memo No.348/ BCDFGISSSV/2024 passed by the 2nd respondent on 12.04.2024, on the file of the 2nd respondent and quash the same as illegal and consequently direct the respondent to produce the petitioner's son Vinith, Son of Gopinath, aged about 23 years, before this Court, who is now detained in Central Prison, Puzhal-II, and set him at liberty.

When the matter was taken up for hearing, the learned counsel for the petitioner as well as the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondents, by producing a copy of the Government Order in G.O.Rt.No.3317, Home, Prohibition and Excise (XIII) Department, dated 28.05.2024, submitted that the detention order has already been revoked.
2. Recording the said submission, this Habeas Corpus Petition stands dismissed as infructuous.
