Respondents Prayer: Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India to issue Writ of Mandamus directing the respondents to publish the result of the petitioner for the post of Police Constable Grade-II notification 2012 written exam held on 24.06.2012 and physical exam held on 22.08.2012 and to appoint the petitioner for the post of Police Constable Grade-II. For Petitioner : Mr.M.Ramamoorthi For Respondents : Mr.R.Govindasamy Special Govt. Pleader.
O R D E R
Though the petitioner has sought for a larger relief for publication of the result of the petitioner for the post of Police Constable Grade-II in Notification 2012 and consequently to appoint him to the post of Police Constable - Grade II, the learned counsel for the petitioner would submit that he would be
satisfied, if the respondent publishes the results alone of the petitioner.
2. The learned Special Government Pleader appearing on behalf of the respondents would submit that if necessary directions are given to this effect, the same would be complied with.
3. Under such circumstances, the petitioner is permitted to forward a written request to the second respondent forthwith, seeking for publication of results of the written examination held on 24.06.2012. Accordingly, on receipt of such written request from the petitioner, the second respondent shall inform the petitioner in writing about the result of the petitioner for the post of Police Constable Grade-II notification 2012, within a period of two weeks thereafter.
3. With the above directions, the Writ Petition is disposed of. No costs. Consequently, connected Miscellaneous Petitions are also closed.
