CRIME.NO.162/2021 Petition praying that in the circumstances stated therein and in the affidavit filed therewith the High Court will be pleased to modify the condition in Crl.O.P.No.8437 of 2021 to Rs.10,000/- instead of Rs.25,000/- may be deemed fit and render justice. Order : This petition coming on for orders upon perusing the petition and the filed in support thereof and upon hearing the arguments of M/S.M.PRABHAKARAN, Advocate for the petitioner and of M/S. L.BASKARAN, Govt. Advocate ( Crl. Side) on behalf of the Respondents the court made the following order:- (The case has been heard through video conference) This petition has been filed to modify the condition imposed on the petitioners in Crl.O.P.No.8437 of 2021 dated 19.05.2021 directing the petitioners to execute own bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/-.
2. The learned counsel for the petitioners would submit that the petitioners was granted anticipatory bail by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8437 of 2021 dated 19.05.2021 with certain conditions and one of the condition is that the petitioners to execute own bond for a sum of Rs.25,000/- each to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the Additional Mahila Court at Chengalpattu, within a period of one month from the date of normal functioning of the Court below. He further submitted that due to the pandemic situation, the petitioners are unable to arrange bond for the said amount and thereby, he prays to modify the above condition.
3. Considering the above facts and circumstances, the condition imposed by this Court in Crl.O.P.No.8437 of 2021 dated 19.05.2021 is modified to the effect that the petitioners shall execute own bond for a sum of Rs.10,000/- (Rupees Ten Thousand only) each to the satisfaction of the respondent police or the police officer who intends to arrest or to the satisfaction of the Additional Mahila Court at Chengalpattu, within a period of one month from the date of receipt of copy of this order.
4. With the above directions, this criminal miscellaneous petition is ordered.
