ORDER

This Criminal Original Petition has been filed seeking a direction to the respondent-police to investigate into the matter and file a final report as immediately as possible in Cr.No.2040 of 2014.

2. It is the case of the petitioner that the petitioner has preferred a complaint before the respondent-police against one Venkateshwar and Chithodu Natesan for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 406, 420 IPC and the same was registered in Crime 2040 of 2014. But, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the petitioner has come up with the present petition.

3.The learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the petitioner is not co-operating with the enquiry. 4.Heard the learned counsel appearing for the petitioner and the learned Additional Public Prosecutor appearing for the respondent.

5.Considering the submissions made on either side, this Court directs the respondent-police to investigate the case in Crime No.2040 of 2014 pending on his file and file a final https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

report as expeditiously as possible, preferably within a period of four months, from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. Further, this Court directs the petitioner to cooperate with respondent-police for enquiry. The Criminal Original Petition is disposed of accordingly.
