RESPONDENTS Prayer: Writ petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying to issue a writ of Mandamus to direct the respondents to consider for inclusion of the members of the petitioner's association agricultural lands into ayacut area of the Prambikulam - Aliyar Project by way of disposing the written representation made by the petitioner on 03.10.2012 within the stipulated time.

Heard both sides.

2.The learned counsel for the petitioner submitted that pursuant to the filing of the present writ petition, the respondents has passed a G.O., which goes against the interest of the claim made by the petitioner's Association in their representation dated 03.10.2012. Challenging the said G.O. the petitioner's Association has also filed another writ petition in WP.No.32335 of 2013, which is pending before this Court. 3.In view of the subsequent development, the prayer sought for by the petitioner in the present writ petition has become infructuous and needs no further adjudication. 4.In the result, the writ petition is disposed of. No costs.
