ORDER

The present criminal original petition has been filed by the petitioner seeking a direction to the respondent to file final report in Crime No.50 of 2015 on his file forthwith.

2. In the petition, it is averred that on 9.3.2015, the petitioner lodged a complaint as against one Hemalatha and five others with the respondent police and the same was registered in Crime No.50 of 2015 for the alleged offence punishable under Sections 147, 148, 323, 324 and 506(ii) I.P.C. Though the said complaint was registered as early as on 9.3.2015, till date, final report was not filed. Hence, the present petition.

3. I have heard the learned Additional Public Prosecutor.

4. Considering the facts and circumstances of the case, this Court directs the respondent to investigate the case in Crime No.50 of 2015 pending on his file and file a final report as expeditiously as possible. The Criminal Original Petition is ordered accordingly.
