PRAYER The Habeas Corpus Petition is filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India for the issuance of a Writ of Habeas Corpus to direct the respondent 1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's minor child Saanvika.S, aged about 2 years and 10 months from the custody of the 3 rd respondent before this Court and handover to the petitioner.

ORDER
(Order of the Court was made by N.SATHISH KUMAR, J.) The present Habeas Corpus Petition has been filed to direct respondent Nos.1 and 2 to produce the petitioner's minor child Saanvika.S, aged about 2 years and 10 months from the custody of the 3 rd respondent before this Court and handover to the petitioner.
2. By consent of both parties, this Court, vide order dated 17.06.2025, had referred this matter to the Tamil Nadu Mediation and Conciliation Centre, High Court of Madras. Before the Mediation Centre, the parties have arrived at an amicable arrangement and have entered into a settlement agreement with regard to the visitation rights of their minor child. Accordingly, this Court granted visitation rights to the petitioner/father to meet the child on every Wednesday, Saturday and Sunday between 04.00 p.m. and 06.00 p.m. As per the arrangement reached between the parties, the said terms shall continue to be in force.
3. Since this Court had already granted visitation rights to the petitioner/ father of the minor child, we are of the considered view that there is no unlawful custody involved in the present case. Accordingly, the Habeas Corpus Petition stands closed. However, if the petitioner intends to agitate his rights further, it is open to him to work out his remedy before the Civil Court concerned.
