..Respondents Prayer : - Writ Petition filed under Article 226 of the Constitution of India praying for a writ of mandamus directing the 2nd respondent to pass order on petitioner application dated 29.09.2020 and 12.10.2020 for issuance of patta following letter of 1st respondent in Na.Mu.23686/2020/U1 dated 31.12.2020 in respect of the property located in old TS.No.917, 918, new TS.No.186 in Ward 45[E] Block 5, Old D.No.386, 387, 388 Nethaji Road, Erode Town and Taluk within a time frame fixed by this Court.

ORDER

(1) Mr.Yogesh Kannadasan, learned Government Advocate accepts notice on behalf of the respondents.

(2) The writ petition has been filed in the nature of mandamus to direct the 2nd respondent, viz., the Tahsildar, Erode, to consider the representation given on 29.09.2020 and also on 12.10.2020 by which representations the writ petitioner herein sought issuance of patta in Na.Mu.23686/2020/U1 dated 31.12.2020 with respect to the property in Old TS.Nos.917, 918, new TS.No.186 in Ward 45[E] Block 5, Old D.No.386, 387, 388, Nethaji Road, Erode Town and Taluk. https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

(3) I am not examining whether the writ petitioner herein is entitled for such patta or not. But, I would rather give such privilege of examination to the Tahsildar at Erode, who may examine the said representations and pass a considered order within a period of twelve weeks from the date of receipt of a copy of this order. During the course of hearing, the writ petitioner may take copies of the relevant documents and submit the same to the Tahsildar, Erode.

(4) The writ petition stands disposed of accordingly. No costs.
