This petition has been filed to direct the respondents police to take action on the petitioner's complaint dated 10.12.2015 by registering an FIR and investigate the matter in accordance with law.

The petitioner herein lodged a complaint as against one S.Vignesh with the respondent on the allegation of cheating. But no action was taken on the said complaint. Hence, the present petition has been filed.

2. When the matter is taken up for consideration, learned Additional Public Prosecutor submitted that the case was already registered in Crime No.359/2015 for the offence under sections https://hcservices.ecourts.gov.in/hcservices/

406 and 420 IPC.

3. Since already the complaint has been registered, nothing survives in this petition. Hence, the criminal original petition stands closed.
