Today, when this matter was taken up for hearing, Mr.P.Krishnan, learned counsel appearing for the petitioner submitted the petitioner has paid the entire amount payable to the Electricity Board and service connection also been restored. The learned standing counsel appearing for the respondents also submitted that the petitioner has paid the entire amount. Considering the fact that the entire penalty amount has been paid by the petitioner, nothing remains for adjudication in this writ petition and the writ petition is closed.
